DSTV v/s Video Shops (DVD Shops)

The question comes since DSTV introduces Boxoffice to their subscribers. Where you can rent movies directly from your decoder.

For now there is only 15 Movies to select from and movies expires… so will the Video shops loss from this? I personally don’t think so. The fact that when the movie expires from DSTV Boxoffice will never be available give points to the video shops. You will never get a 1998 movie from Boxoffice but anyway it is meant for movies that just entered the DVD market.

it is said that after the movie expires then it is taken out of the list then you will never get the movie again. Hiring the movie without living the comfort of your house that is very great.  Another fall is that all you guys who copies will never make a copy of the movies from the Boxoffice so keep going to Mr Video.

I need a copy of a good movie that i hired, thanks to DVD Shrink.. Maybe in the feature they will increase the movie list to more than 15 movies.

The Acer ICONIA

Have not check most of the features of the iconia but hey. The USB mass storage do for me. The Android 3.0 give it a nice sexy look and the browsing is far much better than the Galaxy Tab. I syill love iPad browsing guys. No mobile device come closer.

Android Going the right direction

Im using the tab now. One thing i like with my IOS is the space bar fullstop thing. One thing i like with the droid is the file management. COMMON TO ALL APPLICATION. I haven’t come across the right office suite for me that will come close to numbers on the ipad so the is good job to be done on android. I like the use of the windows life word and excel it help me a lot togethet with the skydrive. I recommand people to ge hold of that. Have not yet open that on Galaxy Tab though. Will be trying that soon. Let me play around it then will update u. But at the moment i still love the Pad

The IOS, The Android

Got my hands on HTC desire android phone for some few minutes… it makes me think again about getting another iPhone, maybe even the tablet.
There is this thing with Apple which im failing to get. why so many restrictions and  lack of standard/Basic features on their products. there is a very big lack of file management on the devices. application not sharing the same file location is one of the basic need. i need to browse the file using readdledocs and also be able to acces the same file with DocToGo without any hacking or advance settings.

if anyone knows of a better way to do this will love it so much. it looks like everything has to be online to work very well.. when is comes to multimedia Apple rules and i so much airplay to appletv.

Add Attachments from within the Mail App is so basic and lacks on IOS, this means there is no way that i can email multiple attachment without extra third party application or hacking (Yet they don’t want us to hack). Say hell to GeoHotz for me please..
the intergration of android application with any installed file manager make me wanna move… any buyer for the iphone 3Gs white 16G please holla at me.

DropBox App work like it suppose to. it intergrate well with other application and filemanager. It automatically upload the when u finish working on it.. that is what ia call basic operation of a device that is suppose to be the business tool. Why do you need itunes to Drag and Drop Documents from the pc to the phone/iDevice via USB… Mass Storage is very useful and need no drivers to get it working on any OS Computer.. so why is that left out of iPhones and ipads.. Jobs  just like it when people are suffering. please free us from this as we like owning this iDevices yet we have limits of using them. let itunes be not the only source of music sync… let me be able to copy music and playlist from more than one PC.. I like it that the is Winamp on Android Market, my old time lovely music player.

My Basic needs are to be able to add attachment from the mail app while composing the email without installing third party App’s. work with the same file in different application, Application to be able to acces the same file structure.

The long waiting for the announcement of the iPad 2 finally arrive… the iPad 2 is launced to start selling 11 March 2011 (not sure if all the countries). The Specs as posted before is the sexy slim baby with 2 camera’s, front and Back with support for FaceTime..
 

Ligheter, thinner but faster iPad 2 comes in white and Black colours from day one.

having a thought that apple willl either add a SD Card slot or USB port it is a disappointment to see none included..

Remote Lock you Phone

Left you phone at on… have info that you need to protect and you phone is not locked and doesn’t have a security code… welcome!

with apple find my iPhone feature you can remotely lock your phone with a security code of your choice from anywhere in this world..  you need to have a mobileme account and have it configured on the phone as well.. get the net goto http://www.me.com . use your username and password to login… then change application to Find My Iphone..

 Click on the blue icon.. the menu will popup with options. click the Lock…. option and then enter the code you wish to use..

where ever you phone is it will lock and will require a code… if the phone is off.. the moment it is switched on it will lock as well.
if you had your phone locked before note that the code u used before will be changed to the new code to just entered..

Adding Email to Outlook Express

How to configure Outlook 2007

Start Outlook 2007, go to the Tools menu and click on Account Settings.

In the Account Settings window you can configure all your e-mail accounts. To create a new account click on the New button.

The Add New E-mail Account wizard will start. Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP and click on Next.

Check the box that says Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click on Next.

In the next window you need to choose the type of mail server your e-mail service is using. In this tutorial we will cover the first option – Internet E-mail (POP, IMAP or HTTP).

Now you need to enter all the settings required to connect to your e-mail server. First type your name and e-mail address.

Then choose the appropriate connection type: POP3.
Next, type the incoming and outgoing mail server addresses (e.g : mail.yourdoamin.com) 

User name(most cases the email address)  and password used to connect to those servers.

There are cases when you need to make some additional settings. In this case press on the More Settings button and the Internet E-mail Settings window will open. Here you have several tabs with different settings. The most important tabs are Outgoing Server and Advanced. In the Outgoing Server tab you can configure the way Outlook connects and authenticates to the outgoing (SMTP) server.

then click ok, then next and finish
